The Ford Amphitheatre, nestled in the Hollywood Hills is a 1241 seat outdoor theatre set against a backdrop of cypresses and chapparel. It is relatively intimate in that no patron is more than 96 feet away from the stage. Music, dance, film, theatre and family events are presented during our summer season; May- September. The Ford Amphitheatre summer season is a program of the Los Angeles County Arts Commission.Take Metro to the Ford Amphitheatre Red Line Metro Rail (Subway) + Ford Shuttle The Red Line provides service between downtown Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley, connecting Union Station, the Mid-Wilshire area, Hollywood and North Hollywood. Directions: Exit from the Universal City Red Line Station. Take the free Ford shuttle to the theatre for performances.
