"Hollywood"
The
film and TV industries are major components of LA's
cultural history and identity, and this week's theme
celebrates "Hollywood". With the Oscars coming up, take your kids to walk the red carpet at Kidspace or go Metro and walk
down
one
yourself at the Oscar celebration at Union Station. The Museum
of Television and Radio's annual Paley Fest celebrates tv's
diverse programming. For a different side of LA culture,
catch a performance of the Vagina Monologues or check out
the diverse
exhibit,
New Voices. Don't forget to enter our great giveaways this
week:
music
performances and dance battles, a brazilian carnival, and
a comedy.
