Spotlight: Squirrels by David Mamet

Squirrels

The Blue House Theatre Company and Criterion Theatre present Squirrels, a play by David Mamet. Arthur, an old writer, is stuck writing a story about squirrels, and hires on a younger writer to help get the juices flowing. Meanwhile, a lovable and vicious cleaning woman periodically stops in to add her own contributions.

Middle East Women Poets on War and Peace

At Loyola Marymount University, Nathalie Handal, Vanessa Hidary, Sholeh Wolpé and Tina Demirdjian will perform new and recent poems, commemorating the fourth anniversary of the Iraq war, in the spirit of peace. Music by DJ Al Fareed, videography by Yo Suzuki.
