The best thing about festivals and fairs is the variety of entertainment available to just about everyone. Make plans to attend all these great events in Los Angeles. Make sure to attend a museum or two during the second annual Museums Free-For-All, and don't forget to enter our ticket giveaway!

On October 1st, twenty Los Angeles area museums — presenting art, cultural heritage, natural history, and science — will open their doors wide and invite visitors free of charge for the second annual "Museums Free-For-All".

On October 7th in Downtown LA, attend the first annual LA Weekly Detour Music Festival featuring Beck, Queens Of The Stone Age, Basement Jaxx, Peeping Tom, Redd Kross, Blonde Redhead, !!!, Nortec Collective, Blackalicious, Of Montreal, The Like, The Elected, OH! NO! OH! MY!, The Blood Arm, Everybody Else, The Howling Bells, Wired All Wrong, DJ sets by: VHS or Beta, Steve Aoki & Blake Miller, Shepard Fairey, Travis Keller.
All proceeds to benefit the charity, TreePeople. |

Ticket Giveaway: Lynne Redgrave's "Nightingale"
Center Theatre Group offers you the chance to win tickets to Lynne Redgrave's Nightingale. Redgrave wrote and is starring in this show inspired by memories of her grandmother.
Tickets are valid for opening performance on Sunday, October 15th at 2:30pm.
