Tap Kids

Tap KidsOn October 20th at CalTech's Beckman Auditorium in Pasadena, check out the best of the nation’s young tap dancers. Tap Kids features eight gifted rhythm tap dancers aged 15-21 in a show that is highly sophisticated, hip, uplifting and inspirational for anyone who enjoys the excitement, rhythm, skill, style and high energy of this all-American dance form.

Spotlight/Ticket Giveaway: Los Angeles Bach Festival

Don GiovanniMark your calendars for the oldest Bach Festival in the west. Since 1934, the Los Angeles Bach Festival has presented programs that feature the works of J.S. Bach and others.

Now in its 73rd year, the LABF kicks off on October 22nd with organist Johannes Unger, assistant organist at the famed Thomaskirche in Leipzig, Germany in a concert on the Great Organs of First Congregational Church of Los Angeles. Free midday concerts are offered during the week (12:10pm) and the Festival culminates on October 29th with a performance of Bach’s B Minor Mass by the Los Angeles Bach Festival orchestra and chorus, under the direction of Artistic Director Alexander Ruggieri. Both Sunday concerts are ticketed events.

Win tickets to the Bach Festival opening or finale! Tickets are valid for Sunday, October 22nd's opening at 4:00pm and Sunday, October 27th's finale at 4:00pm.
