Eat, play and shop at the 8th Annual Reyes Adobe Days (RAD), a 3-day festival celebrating California history, art, music, recreation, cuisine, and shopping in the picturesque foothills of the Santa Monica Mountains. RAD offers cultural discoveries for all ages on the grounds of the Reyes Adobe Historical Site, an original adobe home and museum dating back to 1845. Day at the Adobe is a free weekend festival with performance stages; hands-on historical demonstrations; pony rides; petting zoo; art gallery and gift shop; food vendors; and museum tours. Headlining bands are The Long Run, a tribute to the Eagles, on Saturday, beginning at 3:00 pm and Bella Donna, a tribute to Stevie Nicks, on Sunday, beginning at 2:30pm. Sample the areas prominent wineries, micro brewery, and boutique farms including locally-grown olives and hand crafted cheeses. 11 am to 4 pm Sat 10/6 & Sun 10/7. Sat at 7 am is a RAD 10K & 10-mile run followed by a 10 am parade with Grand Marshal Hayley Kiyoko (Scooby Doo, Lemonade Mouth). ) Saturday evening there will be a haunted tour of the adobe from 8:00 - 9:30 p.m. ($20). Sunday an equestrian gymkhana begins at 9am.
