Hey Los Angeles, we are gearing up for the best 2-day celebration of Juneteenth this city has ever seen. Mark your calendars now for the 3rd Annual Juneteenth Heritage Festival, presented by Black Arts Los Angeles, (BALA) June 16 & 17 and bring the entire family to Leimert Park Village 10am to 6pm each day. There is so much to celebrate this year - our theme is "Faith, Family and the Future"

We are pleased to announce that BALA will collaborate with Manchester Community Technologies (MCT), the Production House, and Arts & Culture Entertainment (ACE), to launch the Leimert Park Vision Network Wi-Fi System which will provide FREE internet access for businesses, residents and visitors to Leimert Park.

Well play traditional games like bid whist, spades and bones. Enjoy Line dancing, Square dancing, and a cowboy or two. Groove to live entertainment and kids; Therell be fun for you. Were gonna reach way back and rock an old school Soul Train line to honor Don Cornelius and Whitney, then reach even further back to call our ancestors by name. Were gonna celebrate their freedom so come on out and shop on Saturday, for your June Brides, Grads and Dads. Bring Dad on Sunday for Gospel music in the air, and Praise dancing everywhere.
