The Salty Shakespeare Company, headed by director Nancy Linehan Charles, conducts their residency June 4 - July 20 at the Marion Davies Guest House. During their tenure they will be rehearsing and developing a brand new, much shortened version of Hamlet, Shakespeares classic psychological thriller of indecision and intrigue. The Salties demonstrate their process and discuss choices they are making to shape this upcoming outdoor performance. Beach=Culture guests are invited to try their hand at a theater exercise as a part of the fun! Please come with one line from a Shakespeare play or sonnet memorized and prepare to converse, not declaim. The company will also demonstrate their use of rap, Alexander Technique, Parkour, and attention and diversion practices in the midst of crowds.
