ON Saturday evening November 17, and Sunday afternoon November 18, the 50-voice Verdi Chorus will present an operatic concert entitled: "DEVILISH OPERA, A FAUSTIAN FEAST!" The program will include choruses, arias, and ensembles from favorite operas wit ha decidedly "DEVILISH" theme: "FAUST;" "MEFISTOFELE;" "LA DAMNATION DE FAUST;" and "THE TALES OF HOFFMAN."

Featured Guest Soloists appearing with the Chorus for this performance are: Robert MacNeil, tenor; Rebecca Sjowall, soprano; and Dean Elzinga, bass-baritone. All are well known to Southern California audiences, and have sung in operas throughout the country. The Chorus is accompanied by the acclaimed pianist, Laraine Stivers-Madden. In addition, there will be a complimentary post concert buffet-reception in the Social Hall adjacent to the Sanctuary. Light refreshments will be served, and the audience is invited to meet and greet the members of the Chorus and the principles.
