Los Angeles has a deep history rooted in many cultures from the past 250 years. This celebration of the region’s shared heritage includes people, significant events, natural settings, and the built environment.

Every week, dozens of events, lectures, tours, workshops, and activities take place across Los Angeles County relating the shared heritage of all those who have come to make their home in this unique place known as L.A.

The L.A. Heritage Portal is brought to you by the Los Angeles Heritage Alliance, which works to support organizations throughout Los Angeles to more effectively promote and preserve the region's heritage, and by ExperienceLA.
