The Pasadena Conservatory of Music is a nonprofit community music school serving 1400 students with weekly music lessons and classes. It is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Precollegiate Arts Schools. The Conservatory's student population ranges from infants to seniors, amateurs to preprofessionals. The Young Musicians Department offers classes for newborns to 11 year olds. The Conservatory also offers music history courses for the adult learner. Outreach programs offered by the Conservatory serve 3,000 public school children annually. The Conservatory offers up to six community concerts every year, most of which are free to the public. Highly popular Mansions and Music concerts are set in architecturally unique homes.
