Held annually in the filmmaking capital of the world, the Los Angeles Film Festival -- a program of Film Independent -- showcases the best of American and international independent cinema. With an attendance of over 60,000, the Festival screens over 200 narrative features, documentaries, shorts, and music videos. The competitive section features recent U.S. narrative features, documentaries and shorts, while the International Showcase features full-length narratives and documentaries. The 10 days of the Festival are also filled with parties, live music, panels and seminars, and other special events.
