The Palos Verdes Art Center / Beverly G. Alpay Center for Arts Education, a non-profit community visual arts organization,inspires individuals to celebrate, appreciate and create art through education, exhibition and community outreach programs. Included annually are 20+ free exhibitions and more than 200 low cost studio art classes for all levels of expertise. Other programs include an in-school art program for all Palos Verdes Peninsula elementary school children, classes for developmentally disabled youth, teacher training in the visual arts and a healing art project at area hospitals.
