Description

Praxis does not have an ongoing company, but instead attracts and assembles its dancers each year, through the process of providing modern and contemporary dance workshop series, with choreography and repertory as one facet of the project. The project is intended to provide an avenue for artistic collaboration, as well as be a catalyst for building the modern/contemporary dance community in Los Angeles and throughout the United States. Praxis attracts dancers of various levels, as well as drawing dancers from across region and across the state of California. This year, we have choreographers and dancers from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Virginia and New York.
