A traditional Dojo or school devoted the the traditional Japanese martial art of Aikido, known for its philsophy of non-violence and peace. Aikido utilizes circular movements and the cultivation of one's "ki" energy. Over 20 years in the Downtown Artists'-Little Tokyo District, the dojo recently celebrated its 30th Anniversary. The Dojo is also an example of traditional Japanese architecture and is a unique and beautiful space with the downtown artists' loft district. The instruction is under the direction of Sensei Kenneth Furuya. Everyone welcome.
