In celebration of National Pet Week, McClave Veterinary Hospital is hosting annual Pet Health Fair & Charity Dog Wash-a-Thon on Sunday, May 6th, 2007 - 11am to 2pm. Admission is free; dogs on leashes & kids are more than welcome. Our pet fair features reps from pet food & drug companies (Science Diet, Frontline, Revolution, many more); L.A. Animal Services mobile adoption unit will be on site w/a few great pets looking for loving homes; Ask the Vet booth; Micro-Chipping at discounted price ($30 during Fair plus $15 reg. fee to Avid); Children's face painting & finger puppet pet craft zone; Complimentary weenie roast (veggie & regular dogs), snow cones, & pet samples.

The pet fair will also feature our Eighth Annual Charity Dog Wash-a-Thon. All of this year's proceeds will go directly to the Villalobos Rescue Center in Canyon Country, an organization that is dedicated to rescue, rehabilitation and placement of abused and abandoned Pit Bulls (www.vrcpitbull.com). Dogs attending the wash-a-thon will receive a bath & towel dry for suggested minimum donation of $10-15 per dog.
