Zenshuji Soto Mission was founded in 1922, was the first Soto Zen temple in North America, is the North American headquarters for Soto Zen, and is a direct branch of Eiheiji and Sojiji. A family orientated temple, Zenshuji is located in the heart of Los Angeles in the Little Tokyo district.
