Each year, the Salvation Army assists nearly two million Southern Californians with shelters for the homeless and runaway teens; youth centers for at-risk children; day care facilities for children and the elderly; a residential facility for homeless families affected by HIV/AIDS; alcohol/drug recovery programs; and affordable housing for seniors and veterans. In addition, we operate 37 Community Centers In Los Angeles County.
