Founded by entrepreneur Kenneth King and interior designer Cary Mock, both fellow spa enthusiasts, dtox makes up 6,200 square-feet of unparalleled zen – and that’s no mistake. Mock worked around the space’s exposed brick masonry walls, 20-foot high vaulted ceilings, wood beams and concrete floors to create the ultimate spa experience. Aiming to incorporate elements of water, earth, fire and air, Mock set about envisioning an environment that had a feel of Asian minimalism mixed with Indonesian flare, keeping it all gender neutral.
