Laddie John Dill and Mineo Mizuno remind us of the natural roots of the site where the garden now sits. The forms standing in the fountain are made of porcelain. In an interview with the CRA/LA, Dill says of the piece, “the attempt is to combine the ephemeral qualities of these natural oxides in an expressionistic manner and have them interact with the architectural structure that defines them physically.”
