This Spanish Colonial revival gem on 13 beach front acres with lovely gardens was the home of Rhoda Rindge Adamson and Merrit Huntley Adamson. Retaining all its original furnishings, the house is best known for its extensive use of Malibu art tiles including a Persian style rug made of tile and several fountains. The Rindge family were the last owners of the Malibu Spanish land grant. The home's 5 car garage is now a museum covering Malibu history from the time of the Chumash to present day. Tours of the gardens are also available Fridays at 10AM. Groups of 11 or more require reservations.
