A Conversation with Common, Artist in Residence. Most people pick one career and stick with it for the majority of their working lives. But despite his name, Common is not like most people. He began his career as one of hip-hop's most poetic and respected lyricists, and has begun making his mark as an actor, including an appearnace in the Festival's opening night film, Wanted.
